Our birthday month which starts off with a great movie "The Concert" followed by delicious lunch at Matakana Market Kitchen,then a tasty dinner at the Portside Cafe in Leigh.Took a group of six Asian students from Rotorua, snorkelling at Goat Island. We had a great time and stayed nice and warm. A very nice group of girls! A busy time as we write our 7th book with a very short deadline for Spot X Publications. October 5th two Brydes whales off the Leigh Coast and a Leopard Seal on Goat Island Beach, first sighting that we know of. As usual orca turned up on October 18th but no-one told us so we missed out on their visit this time.
