On tour with Africa in Focus who we can highly recommend. Arrived at the Cape Cross seal colony and stayed at Swakopmund in a bed! Pleased to be back camping after 3 nights. Early start to Dune 45 at Sossusvlei and on to Fish River Canyon. Paddled a canoe/kayak along the Orange River which was green! Long drives to South Africa, sampling vineyards and cheese along the way. More cheetah and birds of prey then 4 days in Capetown in a lovely B&B called Bucacao at Bettys Bay. Saw whales, seals, dolphins and penguins. Beautiful botannical gardens, stunning coastline and friendly people. Unfortunately all good trips come to an end and we headed home.Back in Auckland the staff were so very friendly and it was good to be back. Rainy and cold, flat battery in car and one missing bag! Air NZ soon sorted the bag out and had it delivered on Saturday.
