Suddenly a change in the weather with plenty of rain and wind. Good time to renovate - painted our office demolished our old bathroom and replaced with new shower etc. Good chance to catch up with writing and finalise plans for our trip to Africa later this year.May 15th we took our boat out for a bit of fishing and came across a pair of bottlenose dolphins in Leigh Harbour. May 16th dived near the Outpost and found snake eels in the sand. Plenty of colourful sponges, goatfish etc. More photos of the red-banded perch seen last month. Water temperature now 18 deg.C, so still warm in the water. Next day Tony dived with the two dolphins at Goat Island. Sightings of numerous orca right around the coast. Visited Mangawhai and also saw 'Boy' at the movies.
