It's been a cool September but we had our first bed & breakfast guests since our trip away last month. They came to enjoy one of the great gigs that are held at the Leigh Sawmill Cafe. At the Auckland Museum we enjoyed the wonderful wildlife photographs on display. Volunteer work at the Tawharanui nursery has been a lot of fun with a variety of jobs including collecting seeds and planting - all to the sounds of the bellbirds, tui and saddlebacks. Always nice to spot a takahe or three.
