A long, hot and very dry summer. We guided hundreds of snorkellers and during March had a record number of visitors staying in our bed and breakfast. Still hot days and lovely warm seas for swimming and snorkelling.
We camped at Tawharanui where we were woken at night as kiwi called looking for food around our caravan. We are lucky we can visit for a day or stay a night or two and enjoy the bush, farm, beach and wetland walks. Saddlebacks, kiwi, bellbirds, pigeons, pukekos, tui, whiteheads, paradise ducks and much more!
