Paradise Ducks

Spring and signs of summer not far away. Daffodils are flowering and the kowhai trees too look spectacular. Still a bit of rain, but now the water will start to warm up and weather should stabilise. We are looking forward to starting our snorkelling experience next month and also getting back in for some scuba diving. We visited Tawharanui and the birdsong was simply amazing. Tui and bellbirds were everywhere, plus a little warbler hopped into a tree next to me as I watched paradise ducks, stilts and oyster catchers in the lagoon.
